About Me

From Gym to Virtual: My 10-Year Journey as a Personal Trainer

My name is Felix Grenier and I’ve been a personal trainer for 10 years now. When I first started back in 2015, I was driven by a passion for fitness and a deep desire to help people reach their full potential. Fast forward a decade, and I’ve had the privilege of training over 500 clients and witnessing countless transformations, some of which have completely changed lives.

However, my journey hasn't been without its challenges. Just like many in the fitness industry, I’ve had to pivot, adapt, and evolve with the changing landscape of health and wellness. But looking back, every challenge has been an opportunity for growth—and that’s what I want to share with you today.

The Early Years: Building the Foundation

When I first started, I didn’t have an office or a full client roster. It took hard work, persistence, and an unwavering belief in my ability to make a difference in people’s lives. I quickly found my footing at one of the most high-level gyms in the area, where I built relationships with clients and became known for my dedication to their goals.

It wasn’t always easy. I had to learn the business side of being a personal trainer, juggle multiple clients, and ensure I was always on top of my game. But with every hurdle, I grew more confident in my ability to bring real value to those who trusted me with their health and fitness.

A Game-Changing Pivot: Navigating the Pandemic

Then came 2020. The world changed overnight, and like many other trainers, I was left wondering: How long will this last? How can I continue helping my clients achieve their goals while navigating this new, virtual reality?

I’ll admit—at first, I was skeptical. Could I really offer the same value through a screen that I did in person? But I quickly realized that this was an opportunity to evolve, not just for my business, but for my clients as well.

I found a course that taught me how to pivot my in-person training to online coaching. It was a learning curve, but I dove in headfirst, confident in my expertise and ability to make the virtual transition smooth for my clients. And here we are today—some of my clients have been training with me virtually since 2020, and the results have been nothing short of amazing.

Reflecting on the last 10 years, I’m proud of the journey I’ve taken and the people I’ve helped along the way. From in-person training in a high-level gym to navigating the challenges of virtual coaching, every step has been a lesson in perseverance, growth, and resilience. If you’re someone who’s considering a career in personal training—or maybe you're a client looking for inspiration—remember that success comes from being adaptable, committed, and always willing to go above and beyond.
